I was VERY impressed with the Henges guy laying the flooring yesterday.  VERY nice, respectful and explained how he had to prep the floor and the extra care he took to ‘do it right’ vs. just rushing through it.  I really appreciated that!!! For that matter, every single contractor we have encountered (as well as all of the Benchmark team, of course!) has been very kind and a joy to deal with.  We have always felt like we were in great hands and not a single corner has been cut. We recognize the quality of work that these skilled craftsmen are putting into the house and we appreciate it!

Mark and his team did a great job building our custom home. We met early on after we found our location and went through what we wanted in a house and worked with an architect to design our dream house. My concern early on was whether or not what I had in my head would be what I got when we moved in and I can say that everything looks and feels exactly like I wanted and I expected. Benchmark was very responsive to our questions and concerns along the way and I would recommend them to anyone looking to build their own dream home.

We contracted with Benchmark Custom Home Builders Inc to build our custom dream home. They were with us every step of the way and delivered on everything we expected. They guided us and communicated with us during the process. This was our first time building a home and they took time to explain everything and let us know what to expect. The attention to detail was spot on and their trim carpenters did incredible work. Mark and Jeff are great to work with and we highly recommend Benchmark to anyone considering a home remodel or new construction. 10/10

Professional and quality construction. They pay close attention to detail and give first rate service. Dina, Mark and Team showed us a beautiful home that was about 75% done. They were easy to work with to complete the project. It was a good experience in buying a home.

My husband and I were impressed with Mark as a custom builder and the way he handled the building of our custom home in Kirkwood. Working with Mark was extremely comfortable because of his easy-going personality and the way he communicated the building process to us.

It’s been just over a year since we moved into our new house. We couldn’t be happier with it. This was the first house we’ve built. We had heard of many bad experiences with contractors from friends and relatives. However, none of these problems arose. You were very attentive to our concerns. We always found you ready to respond – quickly and candidly. It’s been a pleasure working with you.

They are very professional and personable to work with. After we closed, we missed speaking with them as often as we did. And Jim was a fantastic liaison between us and the workers. He really knows his stuff. They did an excellent job in balancing between my wife’s creative side and my budget. From the initial meetings, to architectural design, through the building process, everyone was extremely pleasant, professional. After closing, if there was ever an issue, they took care of the problem almost immediately. Mark is an absolute expert in land development and Mary had some great ideas and solutions to our needs. We never could have made it through this process without them.

We are extremely pleased with our home, and we’re still friends with the builder!! We strongly recommend Benchmark Homes!! Come and see our beautiful home. It speaks for itself. Excellent craftsmanship and finish work, our crown moulding and trim work is beautiful – it really makes the house.
